TuxGuitar is a multitrack guitar tablature editor and player written in Java-SWT, It can open GuitarPro, PowerTab and TablEdit files. TuxGuitar 1.5.4 Beta. Download 2 Screenshots. The easiest way to solve build failures is by building in a clean chroot.Else make sure with archlinux-java status that you are not using an old Java version. Skins[edit]
TuxGuitar offers a set of three default skins that its users can choose from. These are:

Reception[edit]
As of May 2014, TuxGuitar had 4/5 stars in the CNET user ratings.[5] During the same time, TuxGuitar had 3.4/5 stars in the Softpedia user ratings.[6] As of August 2016 the program has 4.7/5 stars on SourceForge.[7] Reviewers at Software Informer gave version 1.0 of TuxGuitar 5/5 stars, praising the 'very easy to use interface' and 'very advanced functions' of the program.[8]
